Clock card & text for oval punch

This clock card was inspired by one done by an Australian lady, Susan Joyce (you can see her card here). I had 2 birthday cards to make for this coming week, and here's what I've come up with.

My base is a 15x30 cm piece of kraft cardstock. Since I don't have a CLOCK stamp, I just cut out a shape freehand and glued a clock trinket to it, that I purchased at a craft fair in Clermont Ferrand last fall. I found all the rest of the supplies in my scrap boxes.

These cards were also the occasion to do up a birthday text to use with Stampin' Up! 's small oval punch. If you'd like to use it, you're welcome to -- you'll find a .png file below. The word JOYEUX was calligraphied with a felt-tip calligraphy marker.

I'll also attach the shape of my clock, for those of you who don't dare cut into paper without a pattern!
