This new blog proposes scrapbooking & card-making projects & tutorials in English.

We propose an annual TUTORIALS subscription, called "scrap-en-ligne" (but rest assured that all the instructions are in English!). When you subscribe to "scrap-en-ligne 2012", you have access to the protected pages where the monthly projects are posted, complete with photos and instructions, and perhaps patterns, calligraphied texts, short videos and layout guidelines (depending on the project). The new tutorials are put online at the first of every month.

The price for the annual subscription is 15€ (which, at the end of February 2012, equals approximately $20.15 US or CDN, $18.86 AUD or £12.70. It's a great buy, at less than $2 or about £1 per tutorial!  All documents (.pdf and .jpg) are sent via e-mail, at the address which is indicated in your PayPal payment. 

One thing to note is that I only work using metric units (centimetres instead of inches). Also, I use metric paper (a regular sheet measures 29.7 cm x 21 cm, which is a little longer and a little narrower than an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of paper). The larger (12" square) papers are just like our 30 x 30 cm papers.

Another thing I must tell you is that my calligraphied texts are generally in French, but I hope soon to be able to supply them in English as well. At any rate, I'll give you the translation for the texts, just so that you know what they say!

The tutorials I propose throughout the year are theme-based. I create in advance of the calendar, to leave you a little time to make the projects. For example : in January, I put a tutorial online for a Valentine's Day gift. In March, the project will be for Mother's Day ... and so on. Another thing to keep in mind is that all my projects are easily adaptable for another event. Here's an example : February's project is for Easter, but at the same time, it would make an adorable baby gift. Usually all you have to do is change the colour scheme and texts to use it for another event.

To join "scrap-en-ligne 2012" (SEL), follows these steps:

1. Send your payment via PayPal, using the button on the SEL 2012 category, in the menu at left.
2. Join the Eklablog environment (it's easy and it's free). Log onto eklablog.com, click on "create an account" (créer un compte) in the middle of the screen at the top. Be sure to accept their conditions and un-click "create a blog" (créer un blog). Choose a pseudonym and a password (that you'll keep to yourself).
3. Send your pseduonym to pleins-et-delies@neuf.fr so that we can give you access to the "locked" pages that contain the projects.
4. Access the tutorials (scrap-en-ligne 2012) and have fun with them!
